The procedure
Silicone implants are placed under the gluteus maximus muscles through a “V” skin incision on their tailbone. Liposculpture carries the advantage that no alloplastic material in needed to improve someone’s gluteal proportions. Liposuction is typically emphasized in the waist, so that an hourglass appearance of the torso is achieved.
Anesthesia
General anesthesia or Local with sedation.
Recovery
Sitting position is avoided for 1 week. A pressure garment is placed for 1 month.
